ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

Hello everybody! Today I will talk about my experience learning English virtually at university. First of all, to mention that English has never been my strong suit, it has never been very good for me and in fact it costs me a lot. I think that the virtual format makes it even more difficult for me to learn, in fact, I would say that it costs me even more.

Regarding Blogs, I think it is a good way to actively follow the course, since you must make a publication every week, which forces you to be aware. In the same way, I really like reading the blogs of my colleagues, knowing what they think, what they study, etc. That is why I think it is a good format to reinforce the contents and at the same time generate interactions between the students themselves.

Regarding my English I think I have many things to improve from pronunciation, writing and above all practice. Since I don't have so much time, I can't make it compatible in my day-to-day life, which is why I consider it a challenge to internalize and study it on a daily basis.

Well, as I said before, I don't use English daily but only for classes, maybe sometimes in songs and movies that I like, trying to understand what they say or translating what they say.

In general, I could say that I must work personally in the practice of English, since being a language that is difficult for me and that I consider unknown, it needs daily attention. And anyway, I would like the other English to be in person to facilitate the dynamics, that the questions are more personalized and that it helps me to be even more interested, since the virtual format often discourages me to participate.

  1. I think the same as you, these spaces are to get to know your peers but also to get to know yourself.
